Living in the present moment or the "here and now" slows the mind down.  A reduction in stress & anxiety helps us think more clearly with a sense of balance.

  Conscious decision making is the ability to “pause” before reacting. We are able to assess the “big picture” of the situation. Reactions and decisions are made with intention instead of an auto pilot or impulse response.
